The following resulted from a review of the recent summer season;

We have only achieved 1 test pass this year however there are now many associates close to or at test standard |

Above could be a combination of a lot of new associates and availability of observers on Tuesday evening. The latter resulting from sickness, holidays etc. |

Given the numbers now and the geographical spread an additional venue may be required for next year. This together with start timing to be reviewed at the spring planning meeting and a discussion item added to the forum. |

The slow riding evenings were excellent and hence can one be organised for the winter? |

Following the meeting slow riding training has been organised for Sunday Nov 9 from 2pm to 4pm at the Grantham TA barracks. All those interested should meet at the site of the Roman Café on the A52 at 1.15pm-------------Thanks Des! |

Winter group observed runs will be held on the 1st Sunday of each month meeting at 10.30am at the usual Tuesday venue. |

The attachment details dates and responsible observer for the day. Given the potential bad weather etc it is recommended that the responsible observer be contacted to confirm. |

Winter social runs will also be held on a Sunday and attachment identifies these dates and organiser. |

The default start timing and venue will be 10.30am at the usual Tuesday meeting place however it is essential the organiser be contacted prior to the event to confirm. |

The Boston group will not be attending Butlins this year but intend to be present at the Springfield’s show mid January at which help will be required. |

KB identified “life savers” are not always being done on RH turns. |

NM distributed a proposed flyer aimed at recruiting associates. General view was that it was good follow up information but too heavy as an initial attraction. See if one could be modelled on the Road Partnership Cadwell day. |

AH identified that IAM are now sponsoring the “Kill Spills” campaign and help with marshalling events will be required next year, |
