PH welcomed and thanked all for attending. Following introductions AH presented MS with his certificate for passing the Advanced Motorcycle Test.

Introductions around the table

PH announced that he would be standing down from the co-ordinators roll with the roll passing to Steve Anderson.

How did winter season go? General view was the weather was against us with few opportunities for Associates to attend. Social runs seemed better attended than Observed Runs

Summer Observed Rides commence all Tuesdays at Little Chef car park, Algarkirk on 14 April and finish mid September meeting at 6.30pm every Tuesday.

Slow riding. DR has agreed to secure the following dates for slow riding events at the Duke of Gloucester Barracks Grantham with Associates assembling first at the Roman Café at 6.30 on the following dates 12 May, 21 July, 18 August.

6.1

All Observers to complete electronic record of attendance of Associates at slow riding evenings. There will be no cross check by Senior Observers until satisfactory standard achieved.

Try to meet at 6.30 and get away without delay. We all need to be a little slicker!!!!

Social ride to be on the third Sunday of the month with meeting time and venue to be arranged and advertised on the website by the organiser hence Forum should be checked before hand under Ride Outs. All attending used the website.

Following Social ride dates and “Ride Organisers” agreed;

May 17 – SA; June 21 – CD (TBC) Elvington Air Museum; July 19 – MD; Aug 23 – MP (Oxford) 8.15 start; Sept 20 – Matt Carpenter

Any one can organise a social ride in addition to above via word of mouth and the forum.

The Group plans to have a stall etc at the following major event and help will be required. The following have volunteered to help.

MCN Butlins spring event – Sat April 25. Mike Chapman, Des Riley, Hugh Andrews, Paul Male

MCN Butlins spring event – Sunday April 26. Mike Chapman, Nigel MacDonald, Mike Doherty (Observed Runs) Need two volunteers for the stand that day.

Value of attending to be determined as appears to be getting smaller and less worthwhile attending.

Boston Bike night – July 3

Would like to see 8 -10 different types of bikes on display to show the variety of bikes we ride. Offers please. Will request increase in stand space to 10sq m from organisers at BMRA.
