Boston Advanced Motorcyclist Planning Meeting – Monday 2 October 2007 at 8pm Wyberton Social Club.


1.  1.  Open discussion on how this summer ran.
Tuesday evening Observed Runs
No adverse comments from anyone. Suggested that from next year the start time for Tuesday Observed Runs should be 7.00 from mid May to end of August to allow more time assemble. Outside these dates, start at 6.30pm. The spring season will start at the beginning of April with a 6.30 start. Venue remains Sutterton Services car park.
Winter Social and Observed Runs
It was agreed to change from Sunday to Saturday with start time 11.00am. Observed runs leave from Sutterton on the first Saturday in the month while Social runs will be on the third Saturday of the month departing from a venue chosen by the Observer taking the run.
Summer Social and Observed Runs to start at 10.00am.

5.  Membership recruitment drive
Chairman Andy Hull to ask John Sherratt for advertising space in Motorcycle Monthly. Each Member needs to promote membership at all opportunities.
6.  X mas dinner. 7 December. Names to Mike and Di.

7.  AOB. Peter Hermite agreed to take over Co-ordinator role from Nigel MacD forthwith except for Social Events co-ordination.

8.  No value seen in having a joint car/bike Observer meeting based on experience of the last joint meeting in December last year.
