PH welcomed and thanked all for attending. Following introductions PS explained he was joining the Boston Group, cars and bikes with an overall training brief. |

How did winter season go? General view was it was a non event with almost no Associates attending. Using Sat. ILO Sun. could have been one of the causal factors together with the poor weather. Re visit the at the winter planning meeting. |

Recent examiner feedback. PH explained the examiners considered Boston Associates were well prepared but that slow riding ability was a potential concern. In addition common with other groups Highway Code knowledge is not up to the required level. After discussion following action plan was agreed. |

Slow riding. DR is trying toget use of Grantham TA Barracksfor April 15 to facilitate a group training evening. This to be confirmed and possible follow up dates. |

All Observers tell PH when Associate slow riding is up to the correct standard and PH to maintain record of this. There will be no cross check by Senior Observers until satisfactory standard achieved. |

Social ride to be on Sundays only with a normal meeting time of 10.00, however venue and time may change depending on destination etc hence forum should be checked before hand. |

John Sharratt has offered to give us an evening tour of Mortons Press Horncastle. Agreed possible dates are May 21 and July 16. PH to check which date is acceptable with Mortons. |

Observer workload. PH sated that we currently have 19 active or new associates and given the upcoming MCM publicity this could grow significantly hence how to handle? Following considerable discussion agreed to see how and if the potential problem occurs. However should move forward with observer training.
